What is your favorite thing about your job?
My favorite thing about my job as a technician is meeting new people and learning something new from each of them. I like being able to provide the customer solutions and support which builds trust.
What type of skills does it take to make it in the technical field?
The most important skill in my opinion is listening. Other skills required are a willingness to learn new things (materials, techniques, printers, capabilities), keeping an open mind and thinking outside the box, especially with odd projects.
What's your favorite place you've traveled to and why?
I love the Caribbean. The Bahamas is my favorite place I have traveled personally. I love the clear waters for snorkeling and spotting sea creatures. For work, my projects have led me to install trials on the Goodyear Blimp, working on the Harley Davidson factory floor and teaching at a convention in the Dominican Republic.
When you're not working, what sort of hobbies do you enjoy?
I am an outdoor enthusiast. I love snorkeling, collecting seashells, swimming and riding my scooter. I am a hobby gardener with ambitions of becoming a Master Gardener one day. But my favorite hobby is spending time with my grandkids - Kaiden, Devynn and Lexi.
