This Sign Shop Got a Jump Start with our
Digital Wrap Class

Burton Francois started his sign shop, BeBold Signs, in Sterling, VA two years ago. He provides a full-service lineup with interior and exterior signs, as well as window, wall and vehicle wraps. His team has handled high-profile wraps for a large moving company, hotels and a pest management company that contracts with local pro sports teams, and he saw last year’s Digital Wrap Class at CL Visual as an opportunity to build on his early success.

“I’m somewhat new to signage, and I wanted to better understand the expectations of what a good vehicle wrap should look like,” said Francois. “That way I could pass the knowledge to my installers, and I would have the ability to hire quality installers in the future.”

Francois’ experience at the Avery Dennison workshop taught him about the importance of optimizing design for production and installation, as well as the benefits of products like MPI 1105™ dIgital media and Supreme Wrapping™ film.

“Justin Pate talked about how impactful it is to look at design in order to ensure install quality before mockup goes to the customer,” said Francois. “Getting to learn about improving processes and seeing the flexibility of Avery Dennison film were the two most impactful parts of the class.”

Upon returning to his shop, Francois has enjoyed increased efficiency and greater possibilities in using Avery Dennison films. He was excited to share a recent project where he performed a color change on a food truck with Supreme Wrapping Film Carmine Red and used printed MPI 1105 to brand the vehicle with company signage.

“You get to take home free material and improve your efficiency, so I would say the class pays for itself,” Francois responded when asked if he would recommend a Digital Wrap Class to others.

Francois’s used Carmin Red and MPI 1105 for this food truck, “Lady K’s Cafe”.
