Paper labels made with recycled materials are not new, but what if you could take discarded fibers from one of the world's pre-eminent crops to make beautiful, luxurious labels? Fasson® Cane Fiber Paper labels use discarded sugar cane pulp to create attractive materials unique in their natural appearances, wet-strength and print performance. The paper avoids tree loss and, unlike recycled papers, no chemicals are needed to remove any ink in order to ensure a white color. Although this is a “specialty” product, it is less costly than tree-free paper made from other resources like cotton. It is more sustainable, smooth and with a high degree of whiteness, Cane Fiber Paper is ideally suited to wine and spirits brands and can utilize all printing technologies.
