Product traceability is vital in the assembly process of circuit boards found within hard disk drives. Clear and legible labels ensure that every batch of products can always be traced. Avery Dennison’s specially formulated polyimide labels are ideal for tagging circuit boards, our highly heat-resistant topcoat preserving barcode legibility even after the extreme temperatures of soldering (up to 300°C). Polyimide labels are also highly resistant to chemicals, allowing circuit board tags to remain legible even after exposure to solvents during the soldering process.
